Ring in the new year

Good MORNING!

I thought I'd show you all my newest pieces. I just saw the movie Alice and Wonderland and I was inspired! All the colors just hypnotized me and Johnny Depp was such a great Mad Hatter. I also have been noticing cute puppies around town and other fun things. This year I wanted to make some yummy MAD tea party goodies. Maybe it will inspire you to host a silly tea party. OFF WITH THEIR HEADS! LOL! I'm starting to think that I need to have my own very soon=0)

I love this one. Don't take a bite...you may shrink.

Not everyone drinks tea, but who can say no to hot chocolate with whip cream?

This fun ring is an original hand painted watercolor of a cup of hot chocolate with whip cream. It makes for a fun conversation piece and it may make you want to whip one up real quick=0)

I sealed the painting with resin to protect it from water.

I used Grumbacher Artists' Watercolors for these rings.

This ring is made of brass and black plating, nickel free, lead free

Ring is adjustable size7 3/4 ~ 9

A whole year later.....

HOLA!

A whole year has gone by and I just realized it's my anniversary=0)

I guess I need to give something away, LOL!

First of all, I want to thank ALL my friends that leave comments. I know there are a lot of wonderful blogs that everyone loves to read. Leaving a comment takes your precious time and I just want to thank my regulars. It's been fun getting to know you and your families and your comments make me SO happy.

I'm going to give this lovely necklace away for my anniversary!

It has a tiny hand painted watercolor of a hydrangea. You just slide the painting through the big circle and it hangs down. It is made to be worn snug around your neck. The chain and pendant are copper. It's a one of a kind=0)

I thought you'd get a kick out of seeing me in the zone, lol! My art teacher had this photo and I didn't even realize she had even taken it. WOW.....total CHI. It cracks me up=0)

Yesterday was my first day back volunteering....love my little artists! We had a three week break and they were ready for me. We started our mixed media project! I apologize....no photo. I THOUGHT ABOUT IT....but it then slipped my mind, oy. They painted their 8x10 canvas...yes all 55 students! HIJOLE, I went to bed at 7:30p.m. last night and woke up at 6:30a.m. I know...I know...I owe you a photo=0)

Walk To Beach

One of my family members has a family beach house near Santa Cruz, CA. It's a great place to get away for the weekend.

I have tons of trees around my house and there are always birds tweeting away all day. Sometimes I feel like I'm camping...but in a house, LOL!

I'm always thinking about colorful yarn. It's all over my house, but I try my best to keep it in order, lol.

Most of us know how much fun it is to snuggle up with our pet...as long as they didn't get into anything too interesting that day.

Bora Bora

I spent 10 glorious days in one of those. We also rode bikes around the 18 mile island and boy did we smell! I can't wait to go back, but I need to work on my French.

Boom Box

Yes, I had one in the 80's and most of my friends did too. The funniest part is remembering my girlfriends brother walked with us all the way to the park with one on his shoulder. LOL!!! We were SO cool, lol.
