Summer carpet ride

This first week of summer has been....... BUSY!  GLORIA DIVINA....seven weeks to go!  Jump on our carpet ride through Disneyland.

Matterhorn is always first up=0)  We have  a special love for the yeti.

Good morning Sweet Cheeks.  

X and I spent yesterday at Disneyland!  We had a great day=0)

After a  long day of running around, I had a massage scheduled.  I took a quick shower, so I wouldn't punish my poor friend, LOL!  Seven hours of sun block, sweat, and corn dogs......that would be a little too much stinkyness, LOL!

Anyways, SHE'S GETTING MARRIED!!!!  And now for the shocker.....she wants me to make the following.

Wedding dress,

Her jewelry,

Her fiances wedding ring,

Bridesmaids jewelry/gift,

and the rest is still open for discussion.

I'm a little nervous, LOL!

Good morning Sweet Cheeks!  This weekend we went to our annual street fair.  X loves to go on the rides, so of course we spent the whole day there.

Me-First day of summer vacation!  I made pancakes.

X-LETS BUILD A ROBOT TODAY!!!

I set out to Coronado to visit with two darling friends that were visiting me from the North.  It was SO warm when I left my home and as soon as I got on the bridge.......OVERCAST.  Hmm, maybe it was going to be like when I lived in Chicago.  Looks chilly, but it's hot and humid?  I wouldn't really know until I parked and got on the beach, LOL!

OY!  Chilly........ay yay yay.

So happy to have found a little shell=0)

I found a whole lotta pretty shells=0)

It's so very cold, but I'm so happy to see my friends=0)  

Brrrrrrrrrrrrr.....

I think mother nature has spoiled me, LOL!

I was so happy to visit with my friends and knit while we caught up on old times=0)  We watched all the kids running in and out of the water.  COLD, but happy and laughing.  The best part is that we could just sit there and enjoy it=0)

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL

Last day of school tomorrow!!!!!  So, I finished the treasure necklace.......j u s t   in   time.  It's been a short and crazy week, LOL!  I hope that Maestra O is able to wear this necklace a lot.  She has been such a lovely teacher for kinder.  We all know that my little boy has a lot to say=0)  She is VERY loving and patient with him.  I CAN NOT express how much that means to me.  So.......I showered her with gifts this year, LOL!

                      I loved using this silk rope to fill in the cracks and give this necklace a thicker look.   My Mama said I should photograph it on a person, but I like it like this.  She believes that she is part of my creative team, LOL!!!!!!!!

I had to use two Italian horns to ward off......THE EVIL EYE.

LOL!  Sometimes I can be a bit dramatic when I describe my pieces.  Hope I made you chuckle.

I wanted to show you all the stuff I got at the winery.  The yarn shop was late to open, so here we go.

This bird looks like one of my watercolor paintings!  He's such a cutie.

I also bought two bags of organic lavender.  I wrapped this tag around it when I got home.  I kept this tag from my French Larkspur purchase.
